“ It’s not an exaggeration to say, this is the only place I found the authentic Indian taste in whole of UK, specifically those South Indian flavours. Tried methu vada, sambar vada, Gobi Manchurian, mysore masala dosa and masala dosa. Totally worth the price. People craving for spicy food I highly recommend theirs mysore masala dosa. All the food tasted fresh. Definitely need to speak about the coconut chutney which tasted fresh and yummy, not like the other places where usually served stored. Highly satisfied. Staff were so friendly, if in doubt about menu just ask the staff. ”
“ A well-managed restaurant that serves authentic south Indian dishes. If you're keen to taste the real south Indian food, then Namma Ooru Dosa has to be on your bucket list. I visited last month and tried their 'Panner Masala Dosa' and to be honest, it was yummylicious. So, I would recommend their Dosa's (Paneer, Masala and Plain). Also, their service was great and their behaviour was kind so 5/5 for that as well. Although it's a great ala carte restaurant but their sitting arrangements are comparatively smaller so I would advise booking this place well before, if you're visiting in a group. ”
“ We have had takeaway before from Namma Oora Dosa on Chorley New Road, Horwich, but ate in last night. HUGE South Indian menu to choose from! It wasnt easy to see what was vegan but the server was really helpful. I was a bit rubbish with taking pics, but chilli bhajis were hot and crispy, and served with a coconut chutney, and the chilli and coriander naan bread was fresh and light, and quite possibly the best I have had! The dining area is very basic, but clean and fresh. For such delicious, freshly prepared food, it is very reasonably priced ”
